Berkshire are delighted to announce that one of our client’s Leadership Development Programmes has been shortlisted to the final four for CIPD’s organisational learning award. The award celebrates outstanding achievements in HR and identifies projects that have transformed business performance with a strong link between learning and development and business growth.

Berkshire has worked collaboratively with RSA since 2007 to design and deliver a global Leadership Development Programme aimed at leaders who have demonstrated potential to reach Board or Regional roles within the next two to five years. The programme was originally conceived to develop leadership for business growth as the Group’s presence in Emerging Markets expanded and to drive similar growth in more established businesses in the UK, Canada and Scandinavia. The programme focuses on building capability in 3 areas;

1) Business Leadership: Leading commercially and adopting a strategic mindset.
2) Growth Leadership: Leading growth businesses, managing change and innovation.
3) People Leadership: Building teams, leadership brand, leading individuals.

Nominated participants’ potential is measured through a transparent assessment process and successful participants embark on an intensive development programme which blends workshop modules based on the three areas above, coaching and business project based action learning over nine months. The programme is about to enter its 4th year, and has a successful track record in retaining and promoting individuals with proven growth leadership as well as achieving the delivery of critical business projects for the group.
