Rob brings a blend of hard and soft capability to BCL. He joined us recently following a spell as a contractor with major government department where he was leading an organisation design project focused on driving down cost, whilst maintaining service levels. His previous consulting experience was with a Financial Services consultancy working with clients such as AVIVA, Marsh, Prudential, Santander and Friends Provident on development programmes. His more distant experience included a long spell in the RAF where he worked on major people and change programmes.
Rob’s current clients include the Law Society, where he is heavily involved in embedding performance management; Hitachi where he is delivering a leadership programme for senior executives across Europe; and the National Offender Management Service, where he is involved in working with a top team to drive improvement.
He has also been contributing to our methodology on evaluation. This not only helps our clients prove the value of programmes following delivery but it also enables us to help clients get resources for programmes through putting together a sound business case.
In his spare time, Rob grows his own weeds and occasionally some vegetables in his garden. He also enjoys the pleasure and frustration of restoring his 250-year old cottage.
