BCL was engaged by a national information service centre in order to implement a substantial Change Project within the organisation. This required analysis of their business processes, outputs and customer relations in order to formulate a business model that could be used as the basis for future development. BCL were subsequently involved throughout the implementation phase of the Change Project through the provision of skills transfer in order to support the development and implementation of the plans for process improvement. The Project has been deemed a success that has brought significant benefit and improvement to the organisation.

  • A thorough review of the key business processes
  • Saving of approx 12% on the running cost of the business


Performance Improvement

BCL are providing consultancy support to a private sector organisation to conduct a thorough review and analysis of the purchasing and procurement activities. The aim is to identify savings on the £110m purchase spend, develop a detailed improvement plan to achieve a targeted savings and support the first phase of implementation of cost saving actions.

BCL supported the gathering of a detailed spend analysis and worked with the team members to develop their commodity strategy with potential savings. We then submitted the various commodity initiatives for approval. The project is ongoing and has identified significant savings and improvements opportunities.
